I have been there a number of times and each time the service gets worse and worse. Today was over the top and I will not be going back. Three of us at lunch, ordering sandwiches. I asked for mine with no cheese and roasted veggies on the side rather than pasta salad. Two sandwiches came out after 30 minutes, mine didn't. It came out 15 min later with cheese and pasta salad - so completely wrong. I asked for the Mgr and he said, we will take care of it and comp the sandwich. Said give him 5 min 11 min later, the waitress stopped by for only the 2nd time and asked if all was ok. I said, no I still don't have my food and she never apologized. Just left. By now, my lunchmates were done and we had spent over 45 min waiting. I walked into the kitchen, handed the bill to the mgr and said we were leaving and not paying for anything. I will not be going back. There are plenty of other places in Greenville that have good italian food and value their customers.

What a great idea. A line like Chipolte, combined with a fire oven, like California Pizza. The result is a great pizza, the best I've had in Greenville. The people were very nice and the place was clean. Hard to beat that. I'll be back.

When I arrived just as the front door was unlocked, I was told that my order of salmon nigiri would take a few minutes longer than usual because the chef had just accepted delivery of the salmon and had to butcher it before preparing my meal. As fresh as any nigiri I've ever had. And absolutely delicious. Excellent service, too!

OscarLopez wrote about DellaVentura Pizzeria

I came upon Della Venturas by accident one day on my way to a friends house on the same road. I am a real pain when it comes to good food , ( I was born in NY city , so i'm spoiled I guess ) but this is some of the best pizza and Italian food out side on NY !! ALL FRESH INGREDIENTS ! PIZZA - 1 The dough - Joe makes the dough daily and lets the dough "proof" or rise , he doesn't rush it through like most people around Greenville . 2 The sauce - Also made DAILY the old fashioned way ** NO SUGAR ADDED If you need sugar in your sauce JUST SAY HOME AND EAT SOME CHEF BOY R Dee ! ** PS That means you = Stephengrubba Your comment shows your ignorance of food and the industry. With a name like "Grubba" , well what else do I need toI say ? 3 The cheese - REAL WHOLE MILK mozzarella ** NOT skim milk cheese or "new dairy blend " ** Joe uses the real deal , it might cost him more but when you taste it you'll know the difference ( if you know food ) !! In closing I must say that food is subjective to what your used to eating . If you eat Chef boy R Dee or eat Pizza hut and that's what your used to , you probably wont like this pizza. BUT if you have an open mind and want to try what PIZZA IS SUPPOSED TO TASTE LIKE without a trip to NY City EAT AT DELLA VENTURAS !!!

tobermori wrote about Cade's Dinner House

- Limited menu, you would think that prices would be better as they crank out the same thing over and over again. - Food quality was ok, nothing to write home about, PLENTY of better options in Greenville, dont waste your time and money here. - We took 4 kids ages 4-9. We were charged 18% automatic gratuity. For 6 adults I dont have an issue, but children? This is a family style resturant WE did all the serving!! - This is another resturant that will come and go, and hopefully they take the gawdy billboards on I385 with them. - If you want traditional American food, choose a better resturant such as Fried Green Tomatos, California Dreaming, or Sarahs on Augusta Rd. Coachouse, PSimpsons.. There is SO much better out there than Cades.

Coal Fired is now my favorite steakhouse! Their steaks will MELT in your mouth. The outside was perfectly crunchy and carmelized and the inside was hot and juicy. I ordered the filet and lobster and it was to die for. I will be back to check out their wine bar! Was not too expensive but in my opinion better than the overpriced steakhouses you will find around here. Hidden gem! Staff was wonderful as well. Inside is romantic and very classy.

TongYe wrote about Pita House

Worst Arabic restaurant I've ever been, I just can't imagine how much they paid to buy this 5-star rating, it is totally a different story. I was there and since it was my first time and can't figure out the Arabic English menu, I asked couple of questions about what those names mean, he became impatient and answered in a wired way, and even raised his voice, I felt a little bit sorry (Why should I think like that?) and I just randomly picked one and asked for a sweet tea, the lady beside him started to prepare the tea for me, and the owner saw I was looking for my credit card and told me cash or check only, I said what I have is only card, he quickly turned around and asked the lady to stop, I was shocked by this action! I can understand that I don't get the tea without pay, but I do not deserve that discomforting action.... Well, I didn't have a chance to taste the food, maybe they are good, who knows? but I will never go there again....

I rolled in here late one evening and even though they were about to close the staff did a really good job and gave me all the time I needed. If you are a fan of indian food you should give them a chance.

dirkshatz wrote about Your Pie

I noticed this new pizza joint last week while I was waiting in the drive thru at the Starbuck's next door. I went in over the weekend as really enjoyed it. It reminded me of one of the burrito joints where you build your own except that these guys do personal sized pizzas. I went all out with jalapenos, bacon and meatballs but the way they have it set up you could get something light and healthy too. I'll be back for sure.

Excellent German cuisine! I've tried several variations on the menu and everything is very good! The service is always top notch, makes you feel right at home and always welcomes you back with a warm greeting. We will be going to their Octoberfest on October 21st weekend at the restaurant. Can't wait to go back and have the cheesecake! Overall, great food, service and wonderful Southern German menu.

I have been here several times, and have always had great service. The food is always delicious, and there is plenty of it. I don't think I have ever left without a box to take home leftovers. Most of the chefs have great personalities (there are a few that are a little dull, but the food makes up for it), and the seating arrangements are fun. Be warned, unless you go with a large group, there will be strangers seated with you. It is a little expensive, so make sure you are prepared, but I think it's worth it.

Cheerwino wrote about Zamorah's Food for the Soul I

Finally tried Zamorah's for lunch and it was really tasty. Meatloaf seemed like a safe bet and it was wonderful. Cabbage and fried okra were as good as you'll ever get. Green beans were canned but flavorful. Tea was good. Service was prompt, food came immediately. Will definitely return! Decor is quirky but it was cozy and far from the vinyl floor cafeteria look of many home cooking restaurants. Overall a welcome addition to Simpsonville dining and a great alternative to the suburb chains or bland country cooking options. Seems to be run by good folks who value your business.

hollyinsc wrote about Groucho's Deli

This was my first time to Groucho's Deli and I ordered The Apollo: turkey, ham, and Swiss on a "fat sub roll" and served with Formula 45 sauce. I was disappointed when the sandwich arrived and I saw that the Swiss cheese was in fact processed Swiss-American. I was shocked when I bit into the sandwich and found the bread to have the rubbery texture that only comes from the microwave. The Formula 45 dipping sauce was a kicked up Thousand Island and quite tasty. On the plus side, the service was friendly and fast and the atmosphere was inviting. To sum up: the sandwich consisted of deli meat and processed cheese micro waved together on a sub roll. Decidedly un-delicious.
