This place is AWESOME! When I still lived in Greenville it was a weekly stop for me. I love the staff as much as the food. They really love their Brazilian culture and it shows, especially in the size of their dinners. It's great to have a place like this in Grenville.

Take it from a Thai chick, this place is good! Great big servings on their entrees and a nice selection. Always a healthy pick they're super fast with their take-out too. Khop Khun Ka Sweet Basil for bringing thai food to Haywood Road.

Restauranteur: Thank you for all of your recent reviews. You've been a busy bee.

Dining? This would have been nice if I was still in college looking for that burrito "as big as my head" after the football game. Come here for the drinks please. Food? Definitely an afterthought.

Exquisite little resaurant! You would never realize it was here. Fine dining at its height. Let Rocky take you on a cruise of your senses. The lovely smells of the kitchen permeate the whole resaurant. The taste of the food is dynamic, to say the least. From lobster tails and escargot to classic Italian dishes you find your eyes lying to your stomach. Please take time from your busy week to relax and enjoy.

Dissapoinment. Oh yes, great looking interior. When you walk in, you can feel the ominous cloud that we like to call negativity. There is a good reason to stay away from this place, but you are more than welcome to check in on the deterioration of a fine building. You may even enjoy your food. Good Luck!

If you happen to be strolling through downtown Greenville and you are looking for something easy, look no further. The food is good but, good food is everywhere. The service is what you will be looking for here. Please take tiime to enjoy the atmosphere to enhance your dining occasion.

Restauranteur commented on Inside: Sweet Basil Thai Cuisine
Surprise! On the outside you are wondering why you might be walking in. Terrible location. Its unfortunate, bc these ppl have what it takes to be an awesome Thai restaurant (something Greenville is lacking). This tight nit family of Sweet Basil offer good service with genuine Thai feel that you would like to expect.

Nice. "A" typical greenville ,Mexi "greet em, seat em, feed em". Enjoy if you are hungry and in a hurry, but dont want Taco Bell.
Restauranteur commented on Inside: The Lazy Goat
Of all of Carl's restaurants, I deem this to be the most worthy of appreciation (maybe bc he isnt as involved).Supplying Greenville with award winning chefs, Lazy Goat has surpassed this southern city's prerequisites for fine dining. From the laid back, relaxed atmosphere, to the amazing quality of mediterranean dishes your experience will astound. If care to enjoy a glass of wine with your meal, you might also be surprised by the reasonable, yet ecclectic choice of good juice offered at this location.

I was appalled when I went to a so-called "Fine Dining" Restaurant with my Wife & the Waitress hit on MY WIFE.Then as if that wasnt bad enough the busboy hit on me.WE ARE NOT GAY & DO NOT APPRECIATE THIS TYPE BEHAVIOR. I Will NEVER go back & would not recommend that Gay Bar to anyone.

By far one of the best places I have ever eaten! The atmosphere is romantic, the menu is exquisite, and the service is 5 star!! Worth making a reservation! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly! I cannot wait to go back! Great for first date, a night on the town, or celebration!!
Quazine commented on First look: Flounder Bar & Grill
I went for dinner not long after this First Look was posted. I was excited to see a mid-scale seafood restaurant in the area, but was extreemely disappointed in both the food and service. The drop biscuits were good, but everything went downhill from there- quickly. Our salads were made with brown iceburg, my first chocie in dressing (the house) was out so my server recommended the honey mustard which I swear could have been French's yellow golden in a ramekin. Our server told me to try it and she would get me something else if I didn't like it. Unfortunately for me, she never came back. Then I was brought the incorrect entree, while my dates fried catfish sat on the table, chilling and getting soggy. We waited 20 more minutes for the corrected dish to come out. Needless to say, we will not be going back.

I started going to BTB when they first opened and have recommended them to many people who have gone and are now driving 30 miles to just eat there. The people are very friendly and they will make something for you if you don't see it on the menu. They have just started the Sunday lunch and it is the best food you will find any place. When I ask my father-in-law where he wants to eat he says he wants to go to Jan's place. This place has some unique foods that aren't the run of the mill, same o same o. Ron does a great job in creating different menu' s and tastes. You don't want to miss the homemade cakes as well. Treat yourself to this out of the way Bistro and you won't leave disappointed. I now work out of town and look forward to dining at "Between the Buns" when I am home. Thanks BTB for the great service you have shown my family thru out the years.

I went in last evening because there was an event in the parking lot for the new business N-CTRL. There was only one server for the entire dining room and she kept me waiting for a while. Once my order was placed it was over 20 minutes before it was received. The portions were very small and did not taste good. I paid $1.00 extra for fried rice and it was not fried rice. There was a pile of white rice covered in soy sauce with peas and a burnt egg scattered on top. I was very dissapointed by the food and service. Because there was a language barrier when I placed my order I did not even bother to call and complain. The place is way over priced and had no childs menu so my daugher's order was half priced for shrimp hibachi which was 7.95 and there were only 6 shrimp. Please don't try this place unless you like sushi which was flying out of the kitchen unlike my order.

If you have not been to Zorba East, you have missed a real treat. Ladies, don't feel like dressing up after a long day or a hard work week? That's no big deal. Put on your jeans and go to Zorbas. Relax, if you drink, have a drink or two. If not, the food is very good. My personal favorites are the wings and the club sand. On a diet? Zorbas also has great salads! Chat with some friends, listen to the juke box, or better still, go on open mic night. For the price, you won't beat this laid back, relaxed experience. D& S......regulars
kevol4 wrote about Tony's New York Style Pizzeria
Tony's is operated by Tony Otto, a real italian dude. He takes great pride in making sure that the quality and quantity of the meal matches the price. Don't expect Little Cesars pricing here. But dont expect chain resturant quality either.Every meal I've had at Tony's has been better than the last. Thats only because Ive tried things that Ive never had fixed the real italian way. Every time we go there we leave with a take home leftover that feeds us a least 1 to 2 more meals.Portions are huge!!!! My fav is the stomboli. But try pizza, sphagetti or any of his breads or salads and I promise you that you will always be reccomending Tony's to your friends when they ask where to go eat.

I am a picky sushi eater, and this place has some of the best in the Upstate! You have to try it out. I highly recommed the Mizu roll, the Hawaiin roll and the Volcano. Oh, and the Ahi Tower is a good one, too!

Lst night I had the best meal I have had in months, and it was right under my nose all of the time and I didn't know it. From the outside you aren't sure what it is, but I am here to tell you it is a wonderful place to eat!! The aroma when you enter sets you back, the friendly and prompt service was good, and everything is homemade right there. The Ranch dressing will turn you against ANY other Ranch dressing!! The salad is a full salad with more than just lettuce in it. The Owner/Chef actually comes out and talks to you and makes you feel like you are dining in his home. Can't wait to go back!
