Ford's Oyster House
As Halfway to Habana's cigar bar came and went, it was quickly replaced by Ford's Oyster House. Ford’s is owned by Jason Fletcher, also the owner of popular Lowcountry cuisine spot The Green Room. The restaurant’s name comes from the roots of the historic building it calls home. “This was actually the very first Ford dealership in Greenville in 1918,” Cato said. “So 100 years ago, you would have seen Model T’s sitting out front. When you’re sitting at the bar, you’re actually sitting where the showroom was.”
