There’s no doubt that Greenville is a Clemson town. Luckily for Gamecock fans, there’s Rendezvous Cafe, which has T-shirts that say “An oasis of garnet in a desert of orange.” Rendezvous is a private club, but it’s easy to get a membership – just visit their Web site and sign up. There are eight TVs, so during football season, the bar is packed with Gamecock fans. Every night has special events. There’s the happy hour from 4-8 p.m. with half-off beers, Wii on Monday nights, trivia on Tuesdays, karaoke on Wednesdays and Thursdays, live music on Fridays and Saturdays and Sunday brunch.
