Inside: Mekong Restaurant
About five minutes into my visit to the Arby's on Wade Hampton Boulevard near Pleasantburg, I decided I wasn't too sure about the re-branding process they'd apparently undergone. Sure, the menu, which featured Vietnamese delicacies galore, was much more adventurous, and the décor of the restaurant was much more attractive, but it was still a bit confusing. Then I realized that I wasn't in an Arby's at all; I was at Mekong Restaurant, a dining spot specializing in Vietnamese and Pho cuisine, that is now located in the building Arby's once occupied. I've gotta start paying more attention to that part of town.
