Sweet Lord, have you been to Simpsonville lately? Fairview Road’s got more restaurants than the phone book. You can almost hear people shouting, “Hey, you got gourmet pizza in my fast food chain!” “Well, you spilled sub-sandwich shop all over my coffee franchise!” Among all these acres of eateries, it might be difficult for a restaurant to distinguish itself from the pack. But Stella’s Southern Bistro, open since August 2008 and concentrating on coastal and southern Lowcountry cuisine, makes its mark better than just about any other restaurant around.
