When it comes to this job, the word “surprise” can have two meanings. There’s “What a surprise! I’ve never heard of this place before and they’ve got the best waffles in town!” There’s also, “It’s quite surprising to me how bad this burger is. I was sort of expecting it to be bad, but they’ve really gone the extra mile.”
Luckily, Fratelli’s Pizza & Pasta, located on E. Calhoun Memorial Hwy (aka Highway 123) in Easley, was the best kind of surprise. This place had some of the best Italian food around, and an atmosphere that would put some of the more well-known “authentic” Italian restaurants around town to shame.
