A conscientious reader recently suggested to me that I might better serve the Upstate by discussing healthy, sensibly portioned meals. This required some deep thought, so I went out and got my usual thinking-food, two double cheeseburgers with bacon. After finishing my thinkin’ burgers and waking up from my meat-nap, I decided to heed my reader’s advice. So this week, I checked out Everyday Organic, a café located at Cherrydale next to Regal Cinemas. Everyday Organic not only offers vegan, vegetarian and some gluten-free menu options, but they also guarantee that every ingredient they use is 100% organic: Free of all chemicals, hormones and preservatives.
