Papa's and Beer
317 Haywood Road
Greenville, SC 29607Neighborhood: Uptown
Papas and Beer offers Cal-Mex cuisine, and although the difference between Cal-Mex, Tex-Mex and plain old Mexican can be fuzzy, Cal-Mex cuisine tends to focus more on fresh herbs, avocado and seafood dishes like fish tacos. The fajitas get high marks, as do the sizzling enchiladas with grilled chicken and steak along with two kinds of cheese, tomatillo sauce and guacamole served on a sizzling skillet. Other popular items are the enchiladas poblanos, taquitos de camaron and fish tacos.

Metromix readers voted Guadalajara Best Mexican Restaurant 2010.
