Love karaoke

I am a regular at the Barn and have enjoyed many evenings there.The secret to being able to sing, due to the long list of singers, is to get your name in early. I am not much of a country music fan but there are many rock songs performed also. All in all,I have a great time there.

I'll have to agree with usclarks. I went there with some friends last night and ended up leaving pretty early. The place had limited seating most of which was reserved for the DJ’s family. Now that I think of it, other than us, I really don't think there was anyone there but the DJ's family and friends. If your not a regular or a relative then service is pretty non-existent. The music was all country but I guess that’s what you get when you go to a place called “The Barn”. I didn’t try the food (it was hard enough just getting a drink) but what I saw passing by looked pretty tasty. Won’t be going back. Left with a headache and lungs full of second hand smoke.

Karaoke snobs

I grew up here and used to go to it when it was Al's Pumphouse. Me and some friends wanted to do some Karoake so last weekend we went. We got there early and long after we started to put some songs in. It seemed though that everyone else was getting up to sing multiple times while we were getting snubbed, possibly because we were not singing country music. The waitresses, the entertainment staff, and even the owner of the bar sang more than we did. They had a huge selection of songs but if you were not singing Country then they just kept shuffling you back in the line-up. If you are not a regular and if you are not singing country music, then I recommend you do not bother. I know I will never go back there again. Oh, and I felt like I had smoked a pack of cigarettes the next day from inhaling all the second-hand smoke.
