They usually draws a decent bar crowd in this wood-paneled tavern accented with stained glass. The menu is Southern low country, and the menu includes options like pimento cheese fondue appetizer, crab nachos, beef tips en croute, pecan-crusted rainbow trout, pastas, steaks and other seafood items, like shrimp and grits. The pork loin comes highly recommended. The bar is open 5 p.m.-until. Sassafrass is located near Richardson parking garage, which offers free parking on nights and weekends.
