Mark Lanegan, 'Blues Funeral'
A former member of the Screaming Trees and Queens of the Stone Age, Lanegan has been spending the better half of the last decade lending his signature gravelly vocals to everyone from Isobel Campbell of Belle and Sebastian to English electronica duo Soulsavers. Much to the delight of his fans, the Ellensburg, Wash., native is finally back behind the wheel for his first solo offering since 2004's "Bubblegum," and he's as morose as ever. Lanegan brings back producer and multi-instrumentalist Alain Johannes, as well as original Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Jack Irons and a host of former bandmates, for the eagerly awaited comeback. –LM
