New releases from Drake, Gym Class Heroes, Childish Gambino and more
It's a big week for left-of-center hip-hop releases, starting with Canadian rapper/crooner Drake (pictured), whose highly anticipated sophomore album almost lives up to the hype. Travie McCoy's alt-hip-hop crew Gym Class Heroes also deliver a strong return, while Donald "Childish Gambino" Glover makes a clever splash with his first major release. We've got full reviews of those albums as well as quick takes on the latest from Angels and Airwaves, David Nail, Howie D, Saul Williams and more, inside the gallery.—Andy Hermann and Lucy Mueller, Metromix
