Adam Goldberg (LANDy)
Main claim to fame: Prickly character actor who has played prickly (but funny) characters on “Friends,” “My Name Is Earl” and, most recently, ABC’s short-lived cop drama, “The Unusuals.” Seen on the big screen opposite Tom Hanks in “Saving Private Ryan” and as the world’s greatest Jewish superhero in indie cult favorite “The Hebrew Hammer.”
Indie credentials: “Eros and Omissions,” the debut album from Goldberg's musical project LANDy, came out this June; it features collaborations with the Flaming Lips’ Stephen Drozd and Aaron Espinoza of L.A. indie rockers Earlimart. He is also an occasional member of the Black Pine, an L.A. psychedelic rock collective.
What the critics are saying: “...a stately procession through the avant-pop heavens.” – RCRD LBL
Random factoid: Adam Goldberg is also the name of a singer-songwriter from Boston. His third album, “Delusions of Adequacy,” is due out later this year.
