Guns N' Roses
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame may not be good for a lot of things—recognizing metal bands in particular—but it appears to have sparked some inductees to reunite. (The power-trio Cream comes to mind.) Yes, wildfire Guns frontman Axl Rose continues to tour his latest version of the Hollywood combo, and it’s getting much better reviews than any other post-“Use Your Illusion” configuration. Still, the original, “Appetite for Destruction” Guns lineup of Rose, guitarists Izzy Stradlin and Slash, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Steven Adler would be one of few acts that could legitimately do stadiums in this day and age. But will Rose ever mend fences with Slash, whom he called a “cancer” in a 2009 interview? Maybe so, but Guns faithful will likely need a lot of “Patience.”
