"Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson" (July 4)

The title of this documentary pretty much says it all. Director Alex Gibney ("Taxi to the Darkside") illuminates the life of "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" author Thompson through archival footage and interviews with the people who knew him best.
