Charlize Theron, "Aeon Flux"
It was a near-unanimous verdict among film critics in 2005: “Aeon Flux” was as bland as its star was ravishing. Described by one writer as looking “scarily beautiful,” Charlize Theron brought a memorable intensity to her role as Aeon—the secretive rebel in a repressive futuristic state who sets out to assassinate the authorities.
Late in the film she discovers the awful truth about cloning—which might point to the source of her picture-perfect facade—and even then her figure-hugging attire doesn’t miss a beat. Hell, we’d watch her read the phone book.
