“A lot of young actresses, from 16 to 30, really wanted to play this part. I told them at the audition to go home and go to a webcam and just do any page from the movie. Most of the actors took a couple days. The night [Emma] auditioned she sent me that on the computer and I walked it over the studio and said ‘here’s the girl.’ They said ‘yeah, you’re right.’ They never put pressure on putting a huge person or anything like that.”
