'Tis the season for Tony Bennett -- but isn't it always?

The hardest-working 86-year-old in show business will be a guest on NBC's 30 Rock this Thursday night -- just after appearing live from New York's Rockefeller Center at Wednesday's annual tree-lighting ceremony. All we know at this point is that the trad-pop legend will be playing himself, so it's possible (if not inevitable) that he'll break into song at some point.

Bennett also has his own TV special lined up for Dec. 9, when he'll become the first non-Latin artist to star in a primetime special on the Spanish-language network Univision. The still-untitled program, scheduled to air at 10 PM ET, will mix live performances and previously filmed vignettes related to his latest CD, Viva Duets, which paired him with top Latin musicians on a variety of standards.
