Why do you tweet? Everyone I know in Greenville I met through Twitter while still living in Charleston. Now it’s a convenient and fun way to stay in touch with everyone. Twitter also keeps me up to date on all the latest news. Plus I use it frequently as a great referral service. I found my dentist, hairdresser and mechanic through recommendations from Twitter friends.
In real life, where are people most likely to see you around town? Any Starbucks but usually the Haywood Rd location. Also my new “crack” is now Costco! I love that place and normally stop in at least twice a week.
What’s your favorite local restaurant? Saffron India Cuisine on Woodruff Road
What’s your favorite place to see music locally? I’m looking forward to my first Larkin’s Rhythm on the River.
What will cause you to unfollow someone? Frequent profanity and sexual references. If I want porn I’ll go to another site.
If your Twitter handle isn’t inspired by your name, how’d you come up with it? I lived and sailed on my 36’ sailboat, Nisus, for 8 years before moving to Greenville. All boats are categorized as sailing vessels or motor vessels. S V Nisus= sailing vessel Nisus.
