On Wednesday, the Desperate Housewives actress is scheduled to be in Charlotte at the Democratic National Convention, where she'll host a party thrown by Got Your 6 and Lifetime Television with a performance by Flo Rida.
Got Your 6 is a nonpartisan Hollywood-backed campaign designed to create opportunities for military veterans reintegrating into civilian life. Meghan McCain and country singer Sara Evans were headliners at a similar event at the RNC last week in Tampa.
In the meantime, Longoria has announced that she is opening up a steak house called SHe, geared towards women (small plates) in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve.
