A wise man once said, “I may not know art, but when it’s hanging in a restaurant I’m eating at, I’d prefer it be out of accidental-condiment-squirting range.” OK, that might not be exactly what the wise man said, but I agree wholeheartedly nonetheless; I don’t want to ruin the sculpture someone spent months on because I scooted my chair back recklessly. So you can understand my nervousness upon visiting The Art Bar on Main in downtown Greenville. The Art Bar, which opened in May 2011, combines a bar, a tapas and sandwiches menu  beside some beautiful works of art that I didn’t want to get too close to.
