The booze

The bar at Smiley’s draws a range of folks for both the happy hour and later evening shifts. Sweetwater 420 and Magic Hat #9 are offered on tap, along with Smiley’s Choice, a rotating selection. Bottled offerings range from the usual suspects to beers from Maine’s Sea Dog Microbrewery, England’s Samuel Smith Brewery, and Belgium’s Chimay Brewery, which is run by Trappist monks.

Smiley’s also offers red and white wines, ranging from $5.50 to $7.50 a glass, and an array of “Coffee Concoctions” that includes a hot cider, Irish coffee and Old School Hot Chocolate Cocoa. Specials run throughout the week, including Service Industry Night on Mondays, and Ladies’ Night on Tuesdays.
