Nominees

On the Roxx

On the Roxx

734 S. Main St.
Greenville, SC 29601
Neighborhood: West End
On the Roxx opened with a bang in 2011. It was voted Best Bar in 2011 by Metromix readers. Maybe it's because the owners get to know the regulars. Maybe it's the mix of entertainment from live music to karaoke to DJ-led dance parties. Whatever it is, judging from the packed house on weekends, On the Roxx is doing something right. Metromix readers voted On the Roxx Best Bar 2011; they were also nominated for Best New Bar 2011.
Addy's Dutch Cafe and Restaurant

Addy's Dutch Cafe and Restaurant

17 E. Coffee St.
Greenville, SC 29602
Neighborhood: Downtown
There's no other bar in the Upstate quite like Addy's small, dark and intimate atmosphere. This eurohipster pub has a beer and cocktail list for people with a refined palate and a food menu that could classify Addy's as fine dining.
The Velo Fellow

The Velo Fellow

1 Augusta Street, Suite 126
Greenville , SC 29601
The Velo Fellow is a new addition to the bar scene in the West End. The little pub, located below Mellow Mushroom, has a few comfy couches and chairs, a bar you can belly up to, a few English style community tables and, perhaps best of all, free shuffleboard. The food is good and eclectic, as is the beer menu.
The Brown Street Club

The Brown Street Club

115 N. Brown St.
Greenville, SC 29601
Neighborhood: Downtown
The Brown Street Club has an upscale feel, top notch bartenders and (and generously poured) cocktails, and live jazz and blues. If you like martinis or other classic cocktails, this is a must-stop. And if you're hungry, the menu matches the upscale vibe. The Brown Street Club was nominated for Best Bar 2011.
