The downtown building that Rey’s occupies has been many things in the last several decades—specialty home store Venti was there for a while, and the current owners ran a bodega-style convenience store there before switching to a bar at the beginning of this year. But for several decades in the mid-20th century, it was Rey’s Jewelry Store. Now, though, it’s a great gathering spot offering a broad drink selection and delicious food options, too.
